Where I belong

There is this song that Hubs and I really like.  The volume goes way up when the song comes on.  It's got a catchy tune.

I'm talking about Building 429's song Where I Belong.  It's great.  Really.  Give it a listen.

There's something that bugs me about it.  I actually sat down and thought about the words.  Great song for a low time.  Gives ya hope.  But, those words "This is not where I belong".  They bother me. 

My question, "If I don't belong here, then why did Jesus put me here?" 

I'm here for a reason, right?  If I don't belong, does that mean everything I've gone through and everything I've done is for naught?  Every life I've touched is for nothing?  Every sacrifice I've made...

Ok, so I know we ultimately "belong" with Jesus.  But, I think I "belong" here, right now, too!
